Vegan in Germany – Tushita Tea House

Tushita Teehaus (or tea house) is an extraordinary place in Munich! If I had to pick the best place I visited on my trip through Germany, this would probably be it.

It’s both restaurant and organic tea house and is more on the small side, but that’s exactly what makes it so extremely cozy.

Our friends recommended the chocolate-avocado tart! Oh my, it was heaven! The entire tart was not raw as you might expect, only the avocado creme, but the bottom was cake-like. It was just perfect! Avocado plus chocolate, that is pure heaven for me! 🙂

Here you can see why I like this place so much! Isn’t it super cozy!

Oh yes, they had tea too 😉 My husband discovered a tea he hadn’t found in a very long time and was super happy!!

We also had a super healthy smoothie since we did miss our vitamix! It was such a good afternoon!!

Another treat was former soccer goalkeeper Jens Lehmann who sat right next to me! He used to be pretty famous but I felt people did not recognize him or maybe they were just being polite. But hey, isn’t it really cool that he’s going to a vegan restaurant for lunch? Yep, vegan food is super trendy and even soccer players have realized that 😉
