Vegan in Germany – Vegan Grocery Chain

Veganz. A name to remember – at least when you go to Germany. It’s the first all vegan grocery chain in Europe!! With over 6,000 vegan products this place is the bomb!! The first market opened in 2011 in Berlin and now this business is growing and growing!

In Hamburg they also partner with avesu, a vegan shoe store! Fantastic!!

Snacks, Chocolate Bars, Energy Bars and MORE….

Brendan Brazier is everywhere and I LOVE it!!! So glad his books are now in Germany too! That’s pretty amazing I think!

CHOCOLATE!! What else do you need in life?! I even found WHITE chocolate which I was looking for for so long!!

More chocolate 🙂

and MORE chocolate!! HEAVEN!!

This is the amazing selection of non-dairy milks, yogurts, cheese, cookie dough!! In the back there are tons of seitan, tempeh and tofu options!! Even shrimps!!

Vegan doner kebab!! WOW!!

Gardein-products en masse!! More than I’ve ever seen in the US in one place!!

Tofurky and Field Roast!!!

Besides chocolate we all need one more ingredient in life: ICE CREAM!!!!

V-dog made an appearance as well!! So did fantastic beauty products, such as Beauty without Cruelty and Dr. Bronner!!

Offering the most amazing products on earth is not enough for Veganz. They also offer cooking classes at many of their locations, plus bakeries, seminars, and organize festivals and fairs! Currently there are five markets in Germany (Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich and two in Berlin), but more will be opening in 2014 (Prague, Leipzig, Vienna and Essen). Exciting times ahead 🙂
